There's Doran Park, Bodega Dunes State Park, Reef Campground, Ocean Cove, and Stillwater North.

Not sure which ones are open anymore. Reef is the closest to FR, but I'm pretty sure it has been shut down. Stillwater and Ocean Cove are the next closest.

Doran and I think Stillwater north are state parks so you have to make reservations, and on labor day weekend good luck!! Ocean cove is first come first serve but if I were you I would get up there no later than Thursday. Timber cove has two or three spaces at the bottom of the ramp. They look cool but there is no shelter from mother nature. Hope this helps.

Doran and Stillwater are county parks, Doran is about an hour south of FR, Stillwater is right there but it's small and fills up fast.  Salt Point State park is just a few miles north and by far the nicest/biggest park up there although it doesn't have showers. It's probably booked up ofr the weekend but it might be worth a try. Ocean Cove is private and really packs 'em in but it did have the full sign up 2 weekends ago.

If the others mentioned are full, there is Cassini Ranch on the river in Duncan's Mills, or Parker's Resort in Guerneville. Both within a half hour drive.
