Tropos

I now wear a FJ, wick(sp) long sleeve shirt, and a good wind breaker type jacket. I have been looking at Dry suits. Can I be happy with a REI Tropo or do I have to consider a more expensive dry suit with GHore-Tex. I plan to do alot of fresh water kayaking fishing and some salt.
