Rotten stressful day working today.   :smt013  Decided at 3:45 to put in a few hours until dusk on the inside at Cabrillo.  :smt001 Was OTW on the inside (not the surfside) at 5:00 pm.  Windy as you-know-what but that was expected and not much of a problem in the little hobie.  Caught one short CA Halibut (released), one short barred sand bass (released), one tom cod (released), two lizard fish (released) and one 17" spotted bay bass that I brought home for dinner.  I caught them all on a green scampi.  Caught "spotty" on my LAST CAST at the boat ramp.   It put a smile on my face ..  Not as cool as Trinidad but still fun.

There was a little excitement at the ramp.  The Harbor Patrol and the Long Beach Police followed some guys in.  This is urban fishing.
