Went out with some friends near Caspar on Sunday.  Viz was about 20 feet and many rockfish around.  I shot a limit of assorted ones including some of the biggest blues I've ever seen.  I told a couple of guys about the old trick where you put your stringer on a long line and drop your shot fish to the bottom........which I didn't do.  They managed to lure 2 lings up to the surface and shot them on the top without even having to descend.  Hmmm....me and my big mouth :smt003

Really fun day.....I love chasing fish around.  Didn't bother looking for abs.

Congrat on a successful hunt Eric.  Thanks for the "old trick" tip  :smt003

Nice job, Dave! Thanks for the report, too. I love to stalk and shoot those big blues within a school.
