Goop-any ideas how to get it off?

The good news: Goop really sticks to my yak.
The bad news: Goop really sticks to my yak.  I've done the "search" and the only thing I see is that heat from a hair dryer might soften it enuf to get it off.  If that doesn't work, do you have any other ideas?

I've tried a hammer, a knife,  and prying with a screwdriver and can't get the cup I put the transducer in off.  (It's a long story, I gooped the t/d down, then when I thought it was peeling up, I put a cup around it, now I need to replace the t/d, and both are stuck.  (Murphy made his next move.)).   I can't even get enuf up to get the water to leak out of the cup. I'd sanded and cleaned the yak surface before gooping, so we know that works.   

Just 5 minutes ago I took my transducer off.  It was gooped in and I used the hairdryer to soften the goop and then gently pryed the transducer with a screwdriver.  It only took me about 5 minutes of direct heat to get the goop soft enough to get a screwdriver into it.  I didn't have a cup around it, but I think the heat will work for you. 

Thanks, Nomad. That gives me hope, I'll try it tomorrow.  I really didn't want to leave it stuck there.  A pin corroded off the cable- I'll  have to be more careful with the put-away and greasing it up.   

It took me most of the day, but I got the t/d and cup off.  I'm going with just gooping the t/d down this time, 'cause I know I'll have to take it off again, and the cup was much harder to get off, and it might to start to leak if I get in some real heat.  The heat from a small space heater/ fan(the blow dryer I tried wasn't hot enuf) softened the Goop just enuf I could get a small chisel under it, then a screwdriver, then worked around the edges til I got some movement and then I pulled like hell back and forth.  No wonder they make another product for shoe soles! Thanks again.
