Conditions look amazing at Shelter Cove... for Monday and Tuesday. Not so good for Saturday and Sunday. But Santa Cruz and Monterey look good for this weekend.

Sorry to hear about your horrible experience.  Thankfully, you're OK and the things lost can be replaced.  I read about the violence in Oakland every day in the paper but having it happen to someone I know really increases one's awareness of how scary urban life can be.  Living in the "burbs" we don't often think about the potential danger of doing something as simple as visiting an ATM.  With places like Safeway offering cash back and self check-out, it may be the time to eliminate the risks associated with ATM withdrawals.  The only good that will come out of your situation will be the increased awareness and precautions taken by all of us in the future.  Sorry for the loss and the scare but thankfully it didn't turn out worse.  No urban ATM visits for me!

First They, 4 of them 2 in the car 2 behind me, surprisingly they took only the cash that got spit out on the machine, and left faster than when they pulled..

Consider yourself lucky since you're not hurt and they didn't take your wallet.  Too much hassles to get replacement for lost articles in the wallet (DL, credit cards, etc) nowadays.

It's good news that you are OK!  Sucks about the other stuff.  Can be replaced though.....if that makes you feel any better.

Life is too random to predict.  I'm glad you are ok, your family is ok.  You can go on and be smarter now
for the experience.  As for the scumbags that robbed you, they are deparate and their lives will be difficult and short.

Hopefully, you will never have another experience like this.

Damn Darius.  Sorry to hear the bad news bro but I'm glad you are still here to tell the story.  Go take it out on some big fish this weekend and think happy thoughts as much as you can.

Thank you fellas it makes me feel a lot better, now I know what it meant when they say I was scared to death, love my family here I knew I can always count on you to ease whatever it may be, Here is the update on the Burglary in place: Believed it or not the burglar strikes again the police in our place have been very helpful and even giving us follow-up calls. Case has been made and all the stolen stuff was also listed, locks and chain has been replaced..I ordered a surveillance camera hopefully it will get here soon, the police told me it would really help and bring comfort in our end when we are away...

That blows Darius, glad your ok. I hate California gun laws. I have a concealed weapon permit from Utah that works in like 36 states (California not included). One of the best sayings I took from getting the permit was "An armed society is a polite society." Because if a bad guy has no idea who is packing they are less apt to do this kind of stuff. But if they know nobody carries then they have the upper hand. Restrictive gun laws only restrict honest Americans, but I digress. Anyways it does not sound as though you could of done anything anyways. People like them are pathetic and no matter what they are robbing you, either at your house, at the ATM, or taking your tax dollars to imprison them. Your a good guy and it will come back to you ten fold.
