Hey Mooch, save the $40 scam shipping and handling, just go to your local auto parts store and buy car underbody spray paint. It's the same stuff. http://www.amazon.com/PERMATEX-INC-80072-CAR-UNDERCOATINGS/dp/B003Z1ZV50

Wife got us 2 cans of the stuff, (leaking skylights) and I used both cans around the 2 skylights.  I'll look at that permatex stuff, as I liked how the flex seal worked.  If the permatex is basically the same stuff, I'm sure it'll be cheaper than the flex seal.  I'm sure the flex seal would stick to kayaks as it's  super gooey.
The flex seal sprays like spray paint, after it hits the surface, it kinda bubbles up then smooths out.  I was concerned that the spray nozzle would gum/gunk up, but it didn't.  Can says to turn can upside downand spray untill nozzle is clear (As you would do with a paint spray can) it seemed to work.  But as I used up both cans I wasn't able to use them after a storage period.

My local kragen Auto (O'rley?) didn't carry the permatex brand but they had Dupli-color undercoat.  It's stated on the can good for us on rain gutters! So  I got 2 cans. Had to get one more later on as the 2 cans didn't last long on my gutters.

flex seal test 1
thought it could be used to protect/ reinforce those areas on a boat that take the most hits.
this is just to see if it will stick. Ill probably hit again if it does.
