Has anyone seen or demo'd the new Revolution 11??? :smt007 :smt007 :smt007 :smt007 :smt007 :smt007 :smt007 I am a huge Outback fan but I think the short Revolution would be my next kayak! Its looks great, its shorter and faster than the Outback. Just trying to see what you guys think and see if anyone has seen it in person or actually demo'd it.

Thanks
Chris

I'm looking to buy a hobie and I may go for the revo 11.  I'll see what else they announce in the outdoor retailer show this week before getting too excited about the 11.

After I bought my wife a 2011 Outback and tried it out my 2006 had to go!! I went and looked at the Revo 11 finally, it wasnt for me. I went with another Outback. I picked up my 2012 Olive Outback yesterday! I dont know if anyone has dealt with Kayak City in Sac but they are great! I bought two Outback within the last month and they took care of me both times!! I am a customer for life.

The Revo 11 was shorter than the Outback by a foot and it was alot skinnier.  For the fishing I do I think the Outback is the best Hobie.

Depends on the water you're fishing and what you're targeting.

While I like my Outback, I prefer my Adventure.

Since the cat is outta the bag on the Hobie Revo 11 .... I'll confess that I got a chance to see and touch one of the first Revo 11's fresh out of the factory when I was in SoCal with our Hobie regional sales rep back in early July.  We were introducing the new boat to retailers in the San Diego area.  Unfortunately, I didn't have time to demo it.

My first impressions....
1)  It's nice and light at only 47 lbs.
2)  It's looks like a mini Revo (Hobie's best selling all-around mirage drive kayak).
3)  It will have the portability of the small Outback Sport with the performance of the Revo.
4)  It should be a hit with women, children, and fishermen wanting to fish smaller bodies of water and rivers.

I hope to demo one soon, and I'll let you guys know when I do.  Until then here's more info on the Hobie Revolution 11

Stopped in the kayak shop the other day and they were just unwrapping one. Sweet looking mini-version of the std. Revo. Can't wait to demo one on some swift water. I do wish they would make one with an up-turned nose like a OK T-11..... but if this one handles as great (or better) in swift water as my Revo one will be in my garage soon.

I'm sure it will be an addition to the fleet Sonny and not a swapping of kayaks.
