Some salmon landings in Santa Cruz

On bike tour of harbor this afternoon I saw several nice catches of good sized salmon being cleaned. One choked with 'chovies. No idea where they caught them.   

Where are all the reports from our fellow yakkers?  Didn't a bunch go out today?  I am just about finished moving and am thinking about going out in the morning.  Maybe I'll give halibut another shot.

Four of us went out at PT Pinos this morning, a lot of paddleing and no luck.  Seemed like most of the boats were catching salmon at over 200 ft depth today. It was a little difficult to get bait down that deep even for some of the power boats.  I think Mooch is going to try again tomorrow.
