MBK Derby coming up quick!

Hey folks:

Want to remind all the Ocean Kayak/Monterey Bay Kayaks annual Derby is scheduled for August 6.........

Last year we had about 70 entries, and Eyebewbsajacketzyth (Phil) won a brand new kayak!

This year we have a Trident 13 as first prize as well as add'l kayak fishing gear for 2d and 3d.

Sorry for the late notice, just another aspect of missing Aaron, I guess.  Might be a good place/time to do a paddle-out for our Pal as well.

Aaron also handled the Man-Dog BBQ duties, so we could use some help in that regard....PM me bout that if you would!

I've been wondering whether this would happen this year. Glad to see it will. It's going on my calendar.

Sounds like it's time for a re-phil  I'll be there one way or the other. Still don't have a truck to get my yak out and have not fished all year but will do what I can to make it there. It will be good to see yall and get OTW again.

Ya, you need to get out quick, dude if you want to repeat your win in Monterey......

Also, for general info, I write  "Eyebewbsajacketzyth"  because I can never remember how to spell "Ebyekewabjeget." 

Though unpronouncable (by me) Phil's handle does carry a meaning that is more than merely Mxyzptlkian.  You will have to ask Phil yourself, though at the MBK Derby.
