Fishing at Moss L. or Monterey?

Hello,
I'm planning on take 1/2 off on Friday and go fishing somewhere I feel comfortable in the ocean not too far from Peninsula.
I've been fishing in Monterey few times now and I was wondering if folks have any preference/opinion about fishing in Monterey vs Moss L.

Monterey for me Moss just feels so exposed? Love the Monterey area.

Moss landing can get really rough coming in and out of the "jaws" between the jetties.  Also lots of boat traffic.  Check the tides and if you are trying to come in during a big outgoing tide, its going to be a rough ride.  Friday looks good though.
