Was over at Pacific Grove Fishing this morning....
-----> http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,32420.msg344732.html#msg344732

And after I cleaned my (small) catch, I decided to go for a dive, the weather was ideal and I was still on a hunt for my ling since I did not catch it hook and line this morning :(

Launched at Coral, after a quick lunch and headed right to some pinnacles I had scoped out in the kelp while fishing. From the yak the visibility didn't look too bad, but after I jumped in I could see it was much like saturday, quite snowy. You had to dive down to really see. Saw the usual average rockfish poking around, but I was after a ling as I just had put some rockies on ice form earlier this morning. I had scored this new 150 lumen light on sunday, and WOW, what a difference a good light makes when hole hunting. My previous light was only 40 or so lumens and really didn't work that well. Had a ton of fun searching holes with this new light. But after several hours I was burnt, and still didn't have my ling.  :smt067

It was time to head in, clean up and enjoy the beach.

Surprisingly there was quite a bit up surge under the water... More so then saturday for sure.

Sorry no fish pics...
