I'll be going to the Philippines the first week of February, for 3 wks next year.  I plan to do some spearfishing.  Anyone wants to go?  Here are some recent pics from the spearboard site of where I plan to be.

Rey,

You got a place for me to stay at?  All I need is a hammock... :smt003

Nice to dream anyways.

Hi Nate,

Yup, got one for you underneath a coconut tree.   :smt003 I've actually slept outside myself before right on the sand after to many San Miguels.  That would be a blast if you can go though.  But seriously at this one island called Siargao (on the pacific side) I can get you a free stay.  You just need plane tickets.

Yo Bro,

We might be going that same time too! We'll talk more about that later...

btw: I thought this was the only type of fishing allowed back there:

Chaeki - Round trip tickets for february are from 950 - 1100 round trip.  Usually I can get them for around 950.  You probably feel right at home in the resorts there.  Lots of Koreans spend their vacation in the Philippines.

Glen - No more dynamite bro.  I heard they really arrest those folks now.  If you can go at the same time we will have a blast.  I'll bring my laptop at albion and show you and Eileen where we are planning to go and stay.

Sonny - You know us Pinoys.  We always have a camera handy.

Dude... you know how it's done there.  But I skip the lechon now.  I just tell the boys in the boat to clean my fish and cook it in the beach while I have my San Miguel.   :smt001

Here is the other island I will be staying at.  I have a friend who has a resort there.  He said he can hook us up but I'm not sure yet what he really meant by that.
