Hey all,

Going down to Monterey or Carmel on Sunday, had planned on SWS and found out about the golf tournament. Where is another good place that I can launch my yak and shoot fish without getting trouble with the department of fish and game. Directions would help, thanks.

Carmel River Beach or Carmel Beach in Carmel.

In Pacific Grove, Otter Cove or Lover's Cove (you can only launch here, don't dive in the cove itself, as it's a reserve. Paddle out the left/west past the large point and you're good to go).

I might be at Lover's on Saturday morning, but I'm not sure yet.
