Yep, ...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT...

Not gonna burn the fuel on the chance it's not blowing, but will check the forecast in the am in case it changes.

We went last sunday and the weather was actually pretty nice until around noon time, it changed in an instant.  Keep an eye on wx though, a window might open.  Me and some friends were gonna head up there too, but mother nature wins again.
I don't intend on winning any tourney's, I intend on fishing with the brother's OTW and having a good time while at it... NCKA!

I was at Gerstle today.  I went out beyond the cove protection till about 12:00 then whitecaps.  I stayed
out till 3pm within the cove.  Lots of blacks and lings.  No reds however.

Didn't go. NOAA point forecast showed winds to 14kts this am, which would probably be WAY lighter before noon, but the small craft advisory was a little uglier: TODAY...NW WINDS 15 TO 25 KT. WIND WAVES 3 TO 5 FT.

Ya never know for sure 'til ya get there, but with those odds, I can't afford the gas to drive out there to find out.

Now the small craft advisory has been extended thru tomorrow night.
