I have a silly question here. When you park by the 17th fairway, do you back up all the way out of those spots back on to the main road to get out? I have parked there before and it is a pretty tight squeeze for a big truck and there appears to be only one way in. I have driven down to the end but there isn't a decent place to turn around.

I would definitely like to obey the rules so we can still enjoy this place. Thanks for the post.

Ray

Yup, back up to the main road.  Or back in to start and come head first.

There is enough room at the other end to turn your vehicle around.  I found it's safer this way!

+1!

Also, we were there on both saturday and sunday last weekend and Joe and I went out of our way to spread goodwill, smiles, thank you's, yessirs and nosirs to the staff who were busy getting set up for their tournament on the 4th!

I encourage all visitors there to do the same, follow the parking rules, and leave everybody thinking good thoughts about us folks with kayaks, fishing poles or spearguns!!

Jim

Years ago I made the mistake of not checking the Pebble Beach Tournament schedule.  We got there early enough to see their staff setting up barricades to control vehicle and foot traffic.

Launching and parking was easy at early morning since the barricades weren't set up but getting out around mid afternoon was crazy.

Ray, when I went there recently I was able to turn my 20ft truck around at the end just past the hedgerows.
Just be careful as there are a few golf/maintenance carts zipping around. jim

Thanks guys for the response. I will try turning around at the end. I guess I was a bit nervous because I did not want to impede the golfers or cause a distraction. I know how much it costs to golf there.
