Just wanted to drop a line to let everyone know that there is a group of paddlers that go out every Wednesday night from Lodi Lake and up the Mokelumne River. It is mostly a paddle trip but there are a few of us that bring our poles along and troll, and or fish in the tules. They just planted a ton of trout and the bite has been pretty good both in the lake and on the river. There are also a few really nice spots for bass that I would be happy to share if you come out. The group paddles at a slow to med pace and usually gets spread out. Its not really an official type trip, you can go as fast and as far as you want and turn back whenever. We have had up to 50 people out on some Wednesdays and its becoming a weekly part on the water. I hope some of you will join in of the fun. If you don't have a kayak but want to come out and play just PM and I can arrange to get you a demo kayak for the night.

We meet at the North side of Lodi Lake Park at 5:30PM and Paddle till about 8:00PM. There is a $5 fee to get into the park, but you can park outside and wheel your kayak in. Just look for all the cars with kayaks on them, you can't miss us.
