brothers, are there any other places to launch south of FR? FR is nice, but I'm trying to find a closer place for RFing.  Thanks in advance.

Hwy 116, Bodega or from parking to launch? If closer to Bodega, there are several coves but they require a bit of work to launch from. Also not as many reefs around.

If you want to get alot closer, you can always try Muir Beach or maybe Stinson. I think Pt. Reyes is off limits now due to MLPA's.

Best launch spots actually start north of the Fort. FR is tough solo because of the distance to the lot and having to leave gear unattended while parking or getting the car.

Good Luck
