Hook 1 Pays it Forward!!!!!

So...as you may have heard Karen and Mark sold Hook1 awhile back...

Since Hook1 were huge supporters of the Pay it Forward Paddle last year, I decided to reach out on FaceBook and see if the new Hook1 owner would be interested in supporting this year's paddle.

After a few exchanged emails and text messages I had a really nice chat today with the new owner, Chad Hoover (who has had an account on here as Knot Right for awhile it turns out!!).

Chad is a really, really, cool guy whose enthusiasm for Kayak Fishing is super obvious right off the bat. He has some great ideas about improving the Hook1 website, product line, etc.

Was also VERY impressed by his involvement with and support of multiple charities including Heroes on The Water!!

After talking for awhile he made it clear that he wanted to maintain Hook1's connection to NorCal, and that even though Hook1 is now based out of Tennessee he wanted to continue Hook1's support of the Pay it Forward Paddle!!

With all the changes I made a call to Chad with my concerns about the Gift Cert. Karen had given for the series and he not only confirmed their value but also threw in a Kayak Rigging Package which will be included on the Trident Ultra I will be giving away at the end of the series.

Chad is awesome and seems to have the same drive to take care of his customers that Karen and Mark had. I had an issue with an order recently and 1 phone call later and everything was completely taken care of. KBF is an awesome site and I *strongly* urge everyone to go check it out.
