Hi Guys,

Just got my GoPro today.  Need inputs from you guys who own the GoPro on the memory card size.   Is it better to get one 32GB or two 16GB?  And how long can you record on a 16GB card?

Thanks,

Sonny

It's preference.......

over 2.5 hrs on a 16gb card at 1080.  More than enough time if you are only capturing catch shots.

Experience, my 16gb card took a dump and got RMA'd to gopro last week.

I bought a 32gb at micro center on sale.

Sonny, get the 16GB.  2.5 hours is plenty of recording time.

Hey brother sonny, I got the 32g one.. it all depends on what resolution your running, but chaeki's correct.  Also consider getting an extra battery, have fun, bro.

Sonny, as pernicus said, Get the Battery Pak if available for your model.  I also keep extra cards just in case I activate the pic/2sec mode instead of video.   Hit the 999 freeze, switched cards and kept going.  Play with it and have Fun. I am still learning with mine.

go with the 32g card and the battery Back Pak; 5 1/2 hours of continuous recording. More than I ever would need for an excursion...

Just make sure you get a "Class 4" card or better when recording HD.
