I've heard similar comments about your Baluts at GS5 

had a dessert made with Durian and though the taste was fine, the after waft up the nose was not to my liking.  I love soursop though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soursop

I agree.  How can a guy who'll eat prides himself on eating "bizarre foods" not be able to eat durian?

Ditto... These are my favorite too.  It's the first thing I look for whenever I'm in the Philippines.  If you guys can find any these around here.  Please let me know.
