That's a steal wonder how long it will take Darious?

Mooch It's a '62' VW Bug I want to carry yaks on. You think this will work? If so I want them. Martin says this might be just what I'm looking for. Thanks dave...

Dave, not sure about fitting for a vw bug. Do VW's have rain gutters? The rack itself will carry two kayaks but the length of the bars will stick too far out. (I used it on a full size GM van)  I'm not sure but I heard that you can get a ticket if the bar goes past your side view mirror. I can call and ask Rack n' Road about it. Stand by, will get back to you on this.

If the bars are too long for Dave's need I can trade him on the one that I have, otherwise if he wont take them, I will get the next dibs please...

I need those bars. I am finally done with the round Yakima bars and things turning when loading. Those clamps might work on the bug drip rails. It seems to me that I remember the drip rails on the bug not being real flat on the underside. Sort of curving upward. That might lend a tendancy for slippage. Craig. Come on Darius I NEED those bars. :smt006 :smt003
