I will be staying in Half Moon Bay (The Maverick Inn) June 10th and 11th for my honeymoon and got the OK to bring my Kayak. I would love to fish either day and would love the company of someone familiar with the area. I have all my own gear, but haven't fished this area before. If anyone wants to fish with a salt water newbie let me know.

Not much in the way of rockfishing from a kayak launching from PillarPoint; everything North of the harbor is protected waters for quite some distance and it's a long paddle south (and north) before you get into decent RF territory.

However dabs and butts are still doable from that launch....

Save the paddling for another time and rack up the WAF points!!!! :smt044
