Jim, this window coincides with the arrival of Swell #2S for the season which is supposed to peak on Wednesday afternoon. Please take some pics of the waves in the cove for me. I've never been up there when a real south swell has been hitting. Assuming the wave forecast is correct and the angle is good there should be some nice waves in there. jim

thanks guys, but I am going to postpone this trip.  Just got back home after 7 days on the road and I need to rest  :smt001

Though tired, I will say that: Pardee is full of very large fish (none of which I caught), Don Pedro is beautiful, Tulloch was a real surprise, New Hogan is full of stripers, my secret slough has filled in since last year, Stumpy Meadows looks ripe right now, the road to Hell hole is open, The American River Inn (B&B in Georgetown) is an awesome place to stay, and there is something to be said for motorcycle travel (though 2-up with a backpack on a KLR might not be the most comfortable way to travel).

so

North Coast for Jim has been postponed a week or 2.....I need to rest a few days first.
