Let's leave the place cleaner than when we arrived.  I'll have trash bags and gloves for anyone interested in taking 10 minutes out of the day to pick up some trash.  That place isn't as trashed as other locations but there's always some debris around.

What is going on 85+? This is going out of control and I'm loving it...

Sorry guys... I'm really bad about committing and signing up for events on a timely basis.  However, this is one event I wouldn't miss for anything.  I have to attend a family friend's wedding that same afternoon, but that can wait.  Having fun and chillin' with my fishing buddies is more important... right?

Would love to make this event but I'm due for another blood transfusion (any day now). I also have a baptism to attend to but that I may miss that as well.

Anyway, it looks like a great turn out! Good luck to all, paddle safe and take lot's of pics!

Just did the tally - With all the +'s we will have 96 anglers battling it out for the honor to be the Butt Master 
I will try to keep up on grilling the dogs but please be patient
There is also a thread started for a pot luck so post up if you are bringing anything
As mentioned by Eric B. It would be best to leave the place cleaner than when we arrive.
Another item of mention:
There will be a donation box avail. for those who wish to donate to those members of the kayaking community in need. Any donations will be sent directly to the Pay It Forward fund. 
If all goes well this is building to be a day to remember.

96 anglers - I guess that means no long line trolling. I'll keep my elbows tucked in too.        

I was just remembering last year and how it was difficult to find the launch spot. since I've only fished there once I can't describe it well. Can someone chime in with some landmarks.  Also had trouble getting to that portion of Alameda - finding the road to the tunnel. If you are coming from the south and take the Broadway exit you have to make a hard left immediately - as you come out from under the overpass otherwise it's easy to miss the road to the Webster St. tunnel - kind of curves back under the Freeway  - note: Rd 260/61


Looking at Google maps it looks like Webster/ 260 down to Central / 61. Right on Central
The turn off is kind of hidden.  it's  past the military jet on the pedestal ( on your left) and then a left turn just past Lincoln Ave (which is on the your right)

Know what u mean...missed that hard left drove all over the place got lost.....finally called Brdopry at like 6 in the morning and he jumped in his truck and met up with me gave me the tour!!! stopped by his dads place Martianfish we headed down to the wall and got some pointers from them...  Kevins pointer was stay right in front of his dad! if I would've I'd of won that tourny...... which I didn't do...
