Lines in the water at 8 am.  Tens mins and I had a double running. I set the hook on both lines and started pulling in the bigger fish.  Got it in and started on the other.  It wrapped around the anchor rope and it took awhile to get it free.  Close to the yak it pops off.

Long story short I was done by 9:50 am.  5 trout all dfg fish.  Biggest was 16" and I was fishing near Stanley Blvd in 33 ft of water.  All on Rainbow power bait.

Looked on their website last week and they planted last Wed and all the trout were penned up near the boat ramp.  They had a string of nets laid down and they let the fish get use to the lake before letting them out.  Don't know if they will keep this up.  Everyone thought there was going to be a "Kid Day" that weekend.

4 to 5 boats on the water and a float tuber.  A little windy but not strong.  No Thunder trout today.  Everyone was catching DFG fish.  Shore guys looked slow.

actually, there was a kiddies fishing day last week and a fishing day of sort for the ol vets.  they keep them penned up so as to make it easier to catch. nets were taken out when they were done with the event on fri.

Crashtst,

On the East Bay Parks website.  They said there are going to start doing this.  For how long ?  Who knows.

Superd270,

I fish Tues to Thurs most weeks.  I will not be fishing this week because I do not like fishing during a full moon.  The bite is usually a lot slower.  If this works send me a private message on when you want to go.

It would be Thursdays for me then but I hv to take a half day off to make it happen. Is 2 hrs fishing time averaged for you or you were a bit lucky then.
Would half day fishing time work for you? If so, let's set a date before they are gone.
