not sure you can find new unit (with GPS) for less then 200. if it exists you may only have one or two choices

try ebay.com
search for humminbird 161
it's single beam sonar and built-in gps
one of the merchants sells it for $170+shipping
personally i would invest a little more and get a humminbird 365i instead...dual beam

How about the Eagle Cuda 350 as seen here on Amazon.

I have it on my back up yak and like it.

+1 on the cuda 350. I picked one up when it was on sale at Bass Pro Shop for $169 or $179 I think. For the price you cant go wrong. A lot of people from this board were recommending it that's why I picked one up. GPS a plus since I'm very bad with direction. Take me to a new place and I'd certainly wouldn't find my way back, unless it's a small lake like chabot or san pablo.

That I do not know.  I know Humminbird makes the compatible transducer but I'm not sure about Eagle.  Hang around long enough and you'll get an answer though.

I dont believe its compatible with the scupper hole, but I may be wrong. Im sure someone can come up with a way around it. I suggest just glue it inside the hull. It is not that hard at all. There are a lot of posts in regards to this (installation, instructions, etc). If you're ever around Daly City, let me know. I can show you how I did mine. I have a Trident 13 as well with a Cuda 350 for my sonar.

I'm planning on picking up an Eagle 350 as well. I fish a good bit around MPA's and GPS is a must. It looks like it has a fairly low power draw as well. I've heard a lot of discussion about scuffing the inside a little and gooping the transducer against the bottom and letting it shoot through the hull. I haven't tried this, but I intend to. If that fails I will mount it to my outrigger when I add them on.

If you had bought Humminbird it could be Sooooooooo easy. Good Luck though. The trident series is so compatible with Humminbird its not even funny. If yu havent opened it you could return it and go for the Humminbird, The transducer will fit the scupper the sonar shield will fit the unit also. Dont make the mistake of cluttering up your storage area with a transducer glued to the floor. Counter productive. The rod pod in your boat is for stowing things. You also cant get a correct water temp reading with it in the hull. Spend a little more and get alot more.

Sorry for the late reply, but I have to agree with Craig on this one 100%. If it's not too late, I think it's better to return the Cuda for a Humminbird. I've got 2 yaks (T15 and Tarpon140) with 2 different transducer mounts (thru scupper and foam/noodle).

Of the 2, I prefer the thru scupper; I get better/accurate readings and the storage space inside the Prowler is clutter-free :D Best of all I never had my FF go crazy on me, whereas the foam block transducer have given me problems with inaccurate readings.

As for what model, that depends on how much you;re willing to spend. I have a 385ci, and I love that thing :) It's basically what Craig is suggesting but with color screen. I must have already done 50 saltwater yak trips with this FF, and have put it to test : flipping the yak otw and enduring couple surf crashes. It still works like a charm!  :smt003
