salmon south of pt sur.

so what about attempting salmon in big sur?

pt sur was the site of two GWS attacks, one in 1972, one in 1974, both in september.
I surfed it christmas day 1993, you have to trespass to get to the beach there. The waves were
big and hollow and it was fricken scary, independent of sharks. Lots of longtime
surfers have never surfed it. So it's kind of etched in my brain.

But what about it? Can salmon be caught? where would be a possible launch? how far out would one need to
go?
