So I guess I got into the thinking of there being some stripers at the mouth after the 3million smolts, but hell no! Thats 0 for 3 there and my last! There wont be any stripers there no matter how much bait is there while theres still 2 freakin sealions around! I had enough attempts at the mouth, its time to change things up again! The ports been quite, I think Ill go hit it now again and bring it Back to Life, Again! Fishworks

I fully intended on being up there this evening, but my plans fell through. It sucks you didn't score, but I'm glad I stayed home. I still went over to Shadow Clifffs with my son and soaked some powerbait for zero. I wouldn't have bet that the stripers would have been all over that place.

Sorry the fishing wasn't what you expected Ricci but I wonder if the presence of furbags will give the smolts any better of a chance to survive or will the sea lions devour them too?

FW, think of it this way. AR salmon should be good in 2 seasons.

Striper_Slayer and I fished from the mouth up to 160 railraod bridge for NADA! We were going for both shad and stripers. We didn't mark any big shad schools like we did two weeks ago.

I want to try the Tracy Stockton area... One of the NCKA bro's just moved in out on the delta, we should converge on his place!  :smt003 Lodi/walnut grove area?
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!
