Looking to purchase some water shoes and wanted to see what people reccomend. I am looking to get these to use at GS5. Of course if you know of any good deals, please feel free to share. Currently I just use my tevas, but I know the water will be cold.

are you looking for added warmth or just foot protection when walking?

I would say added warmth. I am guessing my tevas would work that great at GS5. I have worn them at tomales but that is for crabbing and I am OTW for that long when doing that. I was thinking that GS5 I would be out there longer. Would the neoprene socks with the tevas be a good idea?

I've using the SealSkinz H20 Waterblocker Waterproof Socks for 3 years and wear them with my Teva or inside my booties.

They've keeping my feet dry and warm, make sure to fold the top elastic down to strengthen the seal.  These are designed to be submerged underwater.

Keep checking at NRS. They have some pretty good sales sometimes.  I have the Expedition socks , which work well , for $15.00, but all they have now are XS. They are always on sale tho. Wear them inside crocs

I surf as well as kayak so I just use my booties. Works well and mine have a toe weld so I can't get anything caught in between my big toe. I have surfed in lots of rocky bottoms etc. and have never had an issue with a lack of protection from them.

I like my Seal Skin with XS Scuba 7mm Pyrostretch Heavy Duty Dive Boots
But I'm sure you could also find something else here.

My wife is in love with her Keen's and I have to admit they are pretty nice. It's a "water sandal" and I really want a pair, I got my wife's for hers about 2 years ago and she wears them every day.
