WINDY, but doable in PG.

Raced down after work and got in the water by 5:30 and dove for about two hours.

Vis was a hazy 8 feet I'd say...

Got a couple nice Grassys (16.5 and 17 inches) a 16 inch Greenling and a pan frying B and Y.

Felt great to be in the water!   :smt004

Looks best in 720p. Flat lens looks nice even with the scratches!

Why did you have to do that. Now I'm mad that I have to go to work today. Oh well, Shelter Cove here we come.

Thanks for that video from one who has heard that the fish "are in their holes", but has never been down there to see it.   How many trips up down to the bottom did it take you to get those 4 fish?  Do you ever see them just hanging out, then scurry for their holes as you approach?

WTG Jim! That ling is out there waiting for you. Every time you don't find it, it grows that much more larger, and it's going to feel even better when you do finally shoot it.

I was hunting pretty hard in pretty shallow water so I was up and down A LOT...no clue how many times, but a lot!!   :smt005

I see them scurry for cover sometimes when I startle them...then I go into stealth ninja mode and track them back to their lair and ambush them!

darn good shooting Jim.  I think you have moved on past shooting and should start sticking your hand in the holes and noodling the fish.  God knows you have the hand strength for it  :smt003

Damn fine catch there Jim!! Those Grassy's are hogs!

I thought for sure you would find a Ling in one of those holes. Good looking structure - for sure.

Good Job bud!
