I have an Eagle 320C, bought about 6 yrs ago, but in trying to get it to work better, I broke one of the connector pins, and Eagle says it's not reparable. They will replace it with an X67C or 350C for $212. But that only replaces the unit itself, not the transducer or cables.

I'm concerned that the older cable connector will continue to be a problem. I installed it myself and have no problem with a total replacement of the whole thing, including cables & transducer.

So here's a few questions for anyone with some ideas:
1. Any opinions about the longevity of the connections among finders? In my view, this Eagle setup was not very good - the connection of cable to unit was prone to corrosion & difficult to keep clean. I liked the unit, but it often failed to power up dependably.

2. Any other opinions about finders in general at this point? I haven't paid much attention in this area, as mine was generally OK until now.

Would love to get some recommendations on what folks think I should do next. I'm not in a hurry, because I have a Humminbird portable I can use.
Thanks!
Bill

i have had three eagle/lowrance units. I slather on the di electric goo and have yet to have one pit of corrosion. I agree the multi pin connector seems dumb but grease has saved all of them for me.

Thanks for the Bass Pro link. I did some other browsing, and the 350c takes the same transducer/power cable as the 320c, so I could just plug & play. Not a bad idea....

In case anyone is interested, I bought an Eagle 350c from Bass Pro for $170, plugged it into my existing transducer/power cable, and it worked perfectly, all day this past Sat. at Stillwater. And I got some dielectric grease too.

So a successful repair! Thanks.
