Hey all, first time out tomorrow morning with my new kayak. Will be putting in at Watt.....not going past Howe I don't think....
Gonna hit it early, around 630...

Keep an eye on the flow its still at about 8700 CFS. So its still moving pretty quick especially in the Watt to Howe stretch where the waters shallow and there is some decent current and riffles! First time out on a new yak your better off launching at  Discovery where the waters deeper and slower. I launch this weekend at Disco and paddles up river it wasn't too bad in that stretch for getting comfortable on a new yak.

I see your point Ab.....I just plan on cruising the south bank and getting into the slackwaterss there...I wanna get some striper action in there, been staring at it for months from the shore....
If when I put in at Watt it's uncomfortable I will take out and hit Discovery....
