SWS or ABS Cove?

So I heard a cool story yesterday from some of the residence at Pebble Beach yesterday.  Some of you probably already know this but for those that dont, Alan Bartlett Shepard Jr and his wife had their ashes spread over the island at SWS in 1998.  Who is he you ask?  Well he and his wife lived in pebble beach for quite a while but that is not all.  He was the 1st American in space. "Pretty big deal"  He is the oldest man to ever walk on the moon as well as the only one to play a round of golf up there.  He snuck a club and few balls on the space ship.  His crew has the longest duration for being on the moon at 33 hours.  He holds numerous medals of honor from nasa and the Navy named a ship after him.  There is a ton of other stats on him but these are some of the bigger ones.  His memorial service had a Navy Helicopter spread both his and his wifes ashes over the rocks and then the blue angels flew over head and performed the fallen comrade routine.  Some pretty cool stuff and now we now a little bit more about the place we love to dive and who lives there.
