Team ShickenMooch Update!!!

Just wanted to let you all know that so far NCKA members (through individual and matching donations) have donated $1700 to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society via Team ShickenMooch!!!!!!!!!!

 

This $1700 is in addition to the roundtrip plane ticket donated from PolePole for me to go to Alaska to run the Mayors marathon in Marv and Joel's honor!!

Also, BlackAbKingLoletaEric has been in touch with me about making a donation to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society from net profits from GS5 as well!!!

I am super excited about Eric being committed to making a donation to such a great, worthy Charity...anybody who has ever lost a loved one to Cancer knows how important this cause is.... it is going to take all of us working together to find a CURE!!!!!!!

I am truly humbled and honored by your supprt and encouragement and am super proud to be able to represent you all and to call myself an NCKA member!!

The Santa Cruz TNT team that Team ShickenMooch is a part of has already raised over $80,000 for blood cancer research since we all started training/fundraising in Janaury!!!!! 

My Teammate Miguel is nursing plantar fasciitis (sp) in one of his feet, but I have no doubt he will be back in top form by June 18th.

The third member of our team, my 73 year old Dad, has recently been in and out of the Hospital with tachycardia and other heart problems, but is still committed to doing his very best to complete the full 26.2 mile Marathon with us, but needs to get the greenlight from the docs closer to the date...worst case scenario is that he will cheer Miguel and I on and have the beer cold and ready for us at the finish line!! 

I am making the last of the raffle tickets for the 32GB WiFi iPad up tonight...the iPad arrived yesterday and I will make a ticket for every $10 donated by all of you...

Jalisco’s Restaurant in Watsonville will be doing a fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society tomorrow 04/27.

Jalisco's is a GREAT restaurant and bar located at 618 Main St., Watsonville, CA 95076.

Jalisco’s will be donating 20% of what they make this Wednesday starting at 3pm till closing. Bring your family or take your spouse for a nice dinner and help this great cause.

The actual iPad raffle drawing will be at 8PM!!
