Drove up with Alameda(Geoff). Arrived at 8:00a to find Sledge and the whole Alameda(the place) crew getting ready. Then Dr.Habenaro rolled in. Conditions were just like last week. Vis was at least 15'. Swell was low except for for wind waves. I'm still learning the effects of Scopace. Didn't take enough yesterday, so I didn't try to look for fish. Saw one cabby and a some blacks right under the yak.

The crew getting ready.

Abs.

Abs.

and more Abs.

and then this Aquaman worked the north end of the cove to produce these two 26" lings. I tell you, there were numerous spearos working that same area and came up with very little. But this stud came up with limit on lings. Sorry I cut your dive time short Geoff.

Martianfish and Sledge eager to find out the stomach content of the lings...

Another great day at the cove. I need to up my dosage of Scopace for the next outing.

Right On Ernest for posting pics! :smt006

Pretty much everyone scored an Ab - and the conditions really couldnt have been better for the north coast.  BaitnBeer's intel from the day before proved to be on spot for us the next day as well.

It was totally Great meeting you Sledge and Dr. Habenaro for the first time -

Thank you Ernest for bringing along an extra Yak I could use, and definitely for driving! Oh and those sandwiches were awesome too!You Rock bud!

I had a awesome time with you all out there, and can't wait to do it again!

Sweet day on at the Timber! I made the decision to head up after reading about Andy's nice day and said fu*K those crappies were getting back in the ocean! Conditions were awesome and was able to find a couple of nice abs. pulled 3 +8's with one topping at 9.25.  Great to see a vis of around 25-30 feet. Spent over an hour hunting for a ling and couldn't find a keeper. I never really put in the time spearfishing but have been getting juiced after watching BigJim continue to pull in fish after fish. I decided to get new rubber on the old spear and start shooting a little more. I was able to get a couple of rockfish that weren't too bad in size so it was a productive day. I almost pulled the string on a brunch off perch but didn't not sure how they taste but should have got on e to try out. I do plan on doing a  lot more hunting now since it was a very enjoyable time trying to get my stealth on gliding in on the kill. I brings a sense of excitement that is very addictive and could become a very enjoyable way to spend the day diving. It was great seeing such a NCKA force out there and all having a great time time. Look forward to more get together and next time I will make sure to get my camping groove on since I hate to just drive up and back without enjoying the scenery for a little more time.

WTG Jimbo!!!!!!!

Those are NICE abs bro!!  :smt007 :smt007

You made the right decision on the perch...IMO if you can find rockfish for dinner, don't bother killing the perch!

Lookig forward to diving with you again soon!!

Dude, with the effort you put into it I know you're gonna get your own abs next time. You gotta sort out your equipment issue first, though.
