Weather.com is calling for only a 20% chance of showers and Iwindsurf.com is predicting only moderate winds for the San Pablo area on Saturday.

I'm gonna fish for some stripers or sturgees. Not going out too far. If I launch from Buck's I'm staying near the duck blinds. If I launch at Bullhead Flats I'm gonna fish near Rat Rock. My buddys landed a 67", 70lb sturgeon during the incoming there on Satrurday.

Gonna try and be there early. Around 7:00 or 8:00AM.

I'll post where I'm launching from for sure tomorrow.

Dude if you get out there real early, you should be able to fish the best part of the ougoing tide and the first part of the incoming no problem.  Good luck...I'm on lockdown this weekend.

Might be a good day to set up at Rat Rock or on the line between there and the duck blinds.

Thanks for the post, E. I forgot it gets brighter a little earlier these days.

Is plus two feet (tide) doable at Bullhead Flats? Bob is tempted but doesn't want to do the whole mud launch / landing. If we did it like we mean it we could launch at 7:00AM to + 2 feet. That'd take some hustle, though, especially with the gates being closed.

I think Steve said he launched there when the tide was approx. 0.9 and was able to paddle off of the edge of that rocky outcropping we hauled our kayaks over.  You can also launch at China Camp proper and pretty much have no worries so long as the tide doesn't go negative.
