Hey Joel,

We were talking about waterproof tackle trays.  You may want to get the Woodstream ones.  They have four little latches...but, have the o-ring seal near the outer edge.  I think this helps.  The Plano suck because the seal in more towards the inner lip and not the outside.

I don't like 'waterproof' for saltwater tackle.  The slightest big of water gets inside and it'll corrode the bejesus out of everything.  I find the plain little tackle trays will dry out fine if they only get damp (not submerged).

I have several in about 4x6" size that fits into the cargo pockets of my fishing vest.

IMO: I think the Tackle Logic / zip lock will be my first choice.

Anybody else out there who can think of anything better to use?

I use the plano boxes and have no problems.  If I suspect that anything got saltwater on them, I drop everything in a bucket and rise with fresh water, and set out to completely dry before boxing things back ip.  If saltwater dried on anything metal, corrusion happens.

BTW, o-ring seal maintenance is important.  Check this link out for general lubing practices ... http://www.seapix.com/maint2.htm.  I do this regularly on any sealed boxes.
