Day at the beach. 4-16

Took the family over to SWS for some fun in the sun, wasnt gonna dive this day for I had no one to dive with! ... Decided to go diving anyway since my dive partners name is Big Jim I decided hey! Wait A minute Diving with Jim is like diving by yourself anyway, so I said what the hell! Went over yo my favorite spot which I hadnt been to in months. Water was murky but very clear in some spots. It seemed every hole I looked into there was A nice fish in it. Could have shot my limit in twenty min but decided to shop around. I saw one ling wedged in A deep crevice but decided not to shot, it would only cause heartbreak for the both of us! After around two hours of swiming around finished it up with my limit. The family was chillin on the beach having A blast! Good food and great people!

Nothing like a family day at the beach and going spear fishing.  You really know how to shoot those RF's.  Next time you can take me around and show me how to shoot.  Great pics and thanks for sharing.

We were there from ~7:30 in the morning to ~8ish in the evening.   
Great conditions till late evening when wind started raging.
With all my recent sinus/cold/allergy issues, I was limited to diving in 20ft or less.

I plan on diving on May 1st Eugene!!

Gonna save the hook and line for GS5!! 

I gotta go to Bakersfield this weekend so that will be my next time out!!!!

Congrats on the nice fish, Andy! Too bad that ling was out of reach. I always hate when you see a nice fish in a hole, but the angle just doesn't work.
