Linda Mar crabs - 2/26 ... damn it's windy!

Expected a big swell, but LM was like a lake - a very windy lake.  Really southern swell meant LM was protected... except for the wind.  Bad wind & even worse gusts.


Took a friend's small zodiac out to the same spot I usually drop my traps on kayak(malibu, you know the area).  Dropped the traps off & went to the rocks for a quick dive to enjoy the decent vis & flat waters.  No spears, just looking around.  Cabs & lings everywhere.


Short soak(maybe an hour & a half), 4 square traps, 30 (3 limits) legal dungies. 

Ouch,  3 limits. I got to get a trap out there next time the water is nice.  My Birthday is in a couple days and that is on the top of the list. I will keep my fingers crossed.

Guys let me tell you Fuzz was not lying about the wind.  Living only 1 mile from the beach I had crap blowing everywhere, gust were major and at one point the Satellite went out, two years that has only happened 1 other time.  At one point sideways rain was going back up.  You are a brave man or really like crab!!!
