Fair enough...I bet that beast was tasty as hell!  :smt002 :smt003

I just wanted an NCKA guy to be on top, and that slug would have probably stayed up there for a long time...biggest one I have ever seen for sure!  :smt007

Congrats again bro....always a pleasure diving and hanging out with you dude and I have a ton of respect for you as a bro and as a spearo!!

Let's do it again soon!!

Sincerely,

Jim

Andy wants to go monthly....look for a may event, possibly north of the gate.  It'll be fun to see what other half dead freakazoid creatures we can scratch up and feed to Big Jim.

PS......I did in fact drink a BLLimon.  It was penalty for coming in early with ear problems.   :smt009

Understandable.....but the sheer comedic value of being able to claim the biggest spear eel in the state would have compelled me to follow through with it.  :smt003

ooooh, I know where a basketball sized one lives.  But somehow a biggest urchin comp sounds like a boobie prize to me.  Unless we decide on a rule where the winner is determined on the beach and the losers have to carry all the urchin up the hill.   :smt005

Nate

Biggest urchin could definitely be a boobie prize, and would be more of a side bet deal than anything...

I could make up a urchin shell night light and whoever gets the biggest urchin gets the pretty night light for their house!

 :smt004

Course biggest urchin would have to be consumed/shared on the beach so no carrying up the hill would be needed!!

Jim

so my first attempt with the go-pro underwater didnt go as planned , my camera was pointed to high and it didnt get any of my fish shots(not that they were great anyways) Plus i was running the camera for a large portion of the dive and all i got was some bulls**t. I still got to test it out on the water though and the quailty is great! i bought it offf the mako website and it came with there own underwater lense which worked out wel as far as i can tell and i look forward to making more videos with more of the action that we all love to watch . i watched the whole hour and a half of footage and figured ide just throw geoff in there since he was out champion of the day , here he is coming up with his first eel of the day PLUS his hula skirt of fish. beasty guy he is!
