Just got my first kayak and was searching the web for gear mounting options/systems and ran across this site (usual disclaimer, I don't work for or know anyone in this company).  Has anyone else fitted their Yaks with this product?  Wondering if there are any negative sides to this system.

Thanks,

Robert

while I don't use that particular system from Mad Frog I do have their Liberator FF mount with a transducer arm.  I have found their products to be first rate.

Potential reentry issues.  Also, more moving parts mean more broken or worn out parts, especially in the salt.

Generally, the less stuff, the better off you are.  Keep it simple.

Don't you have a Hobie  :smt002
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Nope, I've got 2!  :smt003

Yeah, you got me Mike, but I was referring to the swinging arms of the madfrogger, not the mirage drive.

Yeah I know but Moving parts looks pretty solid to me? Looks less obtrusive than most ot the other mounting devices and sorta far forward to get in the way of self rescue less that the Mirage anyway.
