1st GoPro Video: Monterey 03/11/11

My first try at a video with my new GoPro camera that I got for my Birthday!!



Looks a LOT better if you select 720p!!

I gotta lot to learn about filming and editing!! I'm using iMovie and the Mac and am sure it will get easier the more I mess with it!

I shoot a little Kelp RockFish at 2:44, get a visit from a Sea Otter at 5:39 and shoot a MonkeyFace Eel in the neck at 6:30.

Think I have the camera too high on my head and need to not just start recording when I get in the water....

Wasn't the best conditions, but the company was stellar and managed to get enough fishies for the post dive BBQ!

Thx for the video Jim. I dig that song a lot. The water looks very sergy. Did you notice your underwater footage looks defocused. You can fix it with one of those flat lenses. http://goforfocus.com is one of 3rd party vendors that sells a replacement lense that fixes the defocus problem for the GoPro HD.
