You ever make it down to southern California? I know that Pete, thee owner of "Just Fishing" in Redondo Beach was looking for a van just like this. Maybe give him a call and see if you guys can work something out?

Sad to see it go.  I know you looked around to find the perfect GMC, too!  If I had the dough, it would be all mine, and would stay realy-to-roll at the drop of a secret text or PM.

I think you should have Andy cut one back door off about halfway up, so a P13 can stick out the back.

It's just too much of a van for a solo type of guy. Will be looking for an oldie but goodie = a used Toyota Pick-Up / 4Cyl. / extra cab / power steering / 22RE engine.

Are those Toyota specs along the lines of what you used to own?

My first Toyota Truck was an 88 Toyota Pickup. It was a 4 cyl / 22RE with power steering but no extra cab. It served me well but I was not comfortable because I did not have much leg space. The bench seat only moved back so much and the bench type seat got my fat ass sliding all over the place whenever I made a tight turn. I ended up selling that and getting a 2000 Toyota Tacoma / 6 cyl / 4-wheel drive / power steering with an extra cab. It was the shnizzel..but....I got intrduced to Scallen's man van, the Euro Van :smt007 I had to have one so I traded in my Toy for one. I LOVED it.....but when I started losing hours at my job (and eventually losing it) I had to sell it  :smt011 . Lucky for me, my friend had a 94 Toyota Pick up / 4 cyl - 22RE / manual steering / no cab sitting at her garage. She offered it to me and had to register it and spend about a 1,300 to get it up and running. That truck was ready to rock and roll as it was going to take me to Alaska. Unfortunately, the trip never happened and I ended selling it to Eric B. as I settled for the GMC Man- Van......and the story goes on :smt002

So, bottom line, I'd like a truck that I never had = a used Toyota pick up 4 cyl 22RE / extra cab / power steering. They are not easy to find and if you do find one, they are usually priced high because it seems that most Toyota Truck owners tend to modify their rigs with big fancy wheels with super expensive rims, heavy duty shocks, monster truck lift systems and unessesary fog lamps :smt045

And I am in love with that lil truck, thanks again.

I had one long ago and sold it, one of my biggest regrets.  Yeah it's not roomy but for some reason I enjoy it more than my big comfy Chevy.

22RE 4EVER!!!!

PS, I know you want the deluxe model, but the offer stands if you ever want it back.  Even temporarily.
