Abalone/ Lucky13's tweeked

Ernest made crock pot abalone at shelter, It was excellent . Called Bloodbath to see if there was any thing special done.
Simple put in crock cover with chicken broth on low 24hrs. Tender and juicy then he made a little gravy from broth.
I tweeked it by throwing in Hole green chilies while it cooked then made the gravy with the broth and added a 1/4 cup chopped jalapenos. Not too spicy but good flavor.Piled the thin slices in a dish and covered with the gravy looked like a casserole   

Sounds like a killer recipe.  Any left over?

Right on! I gotta try it. You didn't mention it, but did you put in a good amount of garlic? There's one thing I left out in the recipe at GS5. If you have it, put a good chunk of Virginia Ham in the pot. The ab would soak up even more flavors. Now, my question is, how da heck did you get abs in March

I left out the garlic also, that would have been even better. I was saving my ab for a hot date that never happened, with season almost here decided to chow down
