Bullfrog/Mildred Island 3/7

I am thinking of hitting Mildred Island/Bullfrog marina area on the 7th.
Last time I was there was about 3 yrs ago....LMB's action should be heating up...
Also wondering if the little dock is still there since it doesn't show on google earth anymore?

If its the little dock im thinking of... its a gonner. At least it was last time i was there....

Yup i guess you're right.  It was ready to go even then in 2008.

i wanted to go there, but afraid to leave my boat at the levee and have someone break into the car.

anything is possible in this world I guess...
wonder if any other delta fishers had any problem with people breaking in at that spot?

I've launched at various spots along that road a few times, and never had any problems. But I usually fish on Saturdays & there seem to typically be some folks around. I had a pretty good day one spring working up Latham Slough.

BTW, water clarity I hear is still pretty poor. I'm looking forward to it clearing up a bit.

I had to bail out due to wind.  It's difficult to navigate the sloughs with wind and tide going on at the same time while casting and paddling.
next time, hope next tuesday is better
