When you guys say the tight bend in the channel are you talking about this spot (labeled "1" on the attached picture)? I'm not sure if I saw any parking near that spot off of Highway 1 but I wasn't really concentrating on trying to find any parking spots on the drive home hahah.  I'd also like to try any spots in the town of Bolinas that I can access the channel inlet from...but I'm not sure where they allow fishing from in the town of Bolinas, judging from Goggle Earth it looks as though there are houses or businesses that line most of the channel...any suggestions?  :smt001

just drive all the way down the main street in bolinas untill u get to the dead end , park along the bushes and walk down to the beach , i usually sit on the rocks and cast out , current rips through there so heavy weights are a must and theres some snags... i try to time it where i fish the slack tides or end/beginings of tides. i got dragged down the beach there one night by a huge batray! good times!

me and my cousin spent like 2 days out there one time , we fished all night , slept on the beach , ate radishes from a farm and got drunk at "smilys" , we pretty much lives of the land

New to the board :smt001  :smt006 Hi,

If you drive one pullout past seal island, there's a large pullout and on an in and out going from a high, cause it's really shallow back in there, you can get some great action.
Instead of squid, I prefer midshipmen, salmon scraps/stomach or fresh smelt. The rays leave it alone and the bigger sharks just eat it like candy. A few more months and a few less rain drops, it'll be good. By then, I hope to have all this yak stuff figured out.

x2 on the inlet to the lagoon. You can park at the end of the road and fish from the beach. By far the best spot ther. Think of it like a funnel for the fish.
