Need some input on a cart for my kayak; not sure what to get to look for in a cart. Any input and/or images would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Glen

I was kinda looking at this one, I like the way it can be easily broken down for storage inside the hull:

What is the real difference in the mini vs the full size? I need a cart and was wondering about the smaller one.

What is the real difference in the mini vs the full size? I need a cart and was wondering about the smaller one.

The mini is WAY too small for our yaks. It's designed for small, narrow sit inside yaks. I bought the mini first, then regretted it, sold it and bought the full size.

Some will say you can make your own, or you can get away without buying the grossly expensive full size Wheeleze. They may be right in some situations, but they are definitely in the minority/don't mind extra hassle/have phenomenal fabrication skills. If you are looking to buy one cart that will do everything and last for years (5 years and counting on mine right now with zero problems), then you should learn from the mistakes and multiple purchases the rest of us have made. Just take the hit and buy the full size Wheeleze. It will be cheaper in the long run instead of trying to find a way around it like the rest of us did.

uh... this thing is HUGH! Had to pick it up locally; couldn't wait for it to maybe get here by 2/17.

Because of the placement of some of the electronics, the wheels barely fit in the upper storage and now I have to find someelse to store the frame; maybe in the storage well.....

haha, I'm the sucker that bought Jay's mini-wheels... j/k  :smt002
I just got the mini to make 4 wheels for the long ramp (like Elk).  Yeah, mini is way too small for even my mini-x...
so congrats on good choice! :smt004

The term "slow your roll comes" to mind. There are so many things to consider when setting up your yak. We have almost all done things to find out "tab "a" does not fit into slot "c".
I store my frame on the bow when I have to take it.

G, don't worry you hardly ever have to take your wheels with you. Normally you just run them back to the car. Some guys lock them at the launch site
