Hobiedave and  I are going to launch from 9th street pier tuesday morning at 8am..
we will soak sardines looking for a fat striper..
hoping to enjoy some more of this harsh winter temps..

Yes they do unless it's sold out.

Good luck. Just saw a pic from a friend who got a 40'' / 28lb striper while fishing for sturgeon using ghost shrimp.

Good decision!  It's no fun being OTW on a windy day!

Let me know when the rescheduled trip is.  The weather conditions don't look too good over the next few days.  Lots of wind and maybe even some rain next week.

I thnk the decision this morning was the right one...although the warm temps are clear skies really had me itching...
then stopped by Outdoor Pro Shop to get some RF gear and that didn't help the fix either....

so I am thinking of hitting the Big Break area via Lauritzen Harbor in Oakdale tomorrow morning around 830ish...Wind be damned...at least it wont be raining...

if it is howling I will duck in for cover near the sleuths near Big Break marina..
