Hello everyone,

It has been a while since I've taken my kayak out. I think it has been since GimmeShelter III. Anyhow, I don't think I'll be taking it out anytime soon with a baby coming up and all.

For sale is a Hobie Maui with the essential accessories: Seat, paddle, dry bag, PFD (Adult Medium), farmer john (size 48), and a brand new rod and reel with line. I'll even throw in a home made kayak cart. You know what, I also made a ghost shrip pump that worked very well for me in Alameda beach two seasons ago. I haven't used the pump since then so I don't know if it still works. I don't see why not though.

The kayak has been modified slightly. In order for me to mount rod holders, I had to add a small piece of wood on the front. See picture. I am throwing in the rod holder(s) as well. I found at least one in my attic. I will try to find the other but no promise it would be found. Also, eye hooks were added for mounting an anchor system. The modifications have not caused any leaks as far as I can tell. I took it out to the rough waves of GimmeShelter III and came back safely without incident after all.

There are, of course, minor scratches on the bottom of the boat. Nothing deep. No leaks as far as I can tell.

Additional accessories such as anchor system, radio, and fishfinder are also available but sold seperately.
